Our cherished Proud Rovers Committee Member, Lisa Farrell, who left us peacefully on 29th December 2024 at 11pm.

Lisa was a beacon of strength, resilience, and compassion. Diagnosed with cancer for the second time 18 months ago, she faced her illness with remarkable courage and determination, serving as an inspiration to all who knew her.

Lisa joined the Proud Rovers Committee in August 2022, bringing her incredible enthusiasm, kindness, and dedication. Her passion for helping others was evident throughout her life, from her years of service at the Job Centre to her invaluable work as a Counsellor.

A selfless and generous soul, Lisa made a lasting impact on the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Her absence will be deeply felt, not only by her Proud Rovers family but also by the countless individuals whose lives she touched with her care and empathy.

Our thoughts are with Lisa’s family and friends during this difficult time. Lisa’s memory will forever remain in our hearts, and we will always honour her. Rest in peace, Lisa you will be dearly missed.
